Since the founding of Procido LLP in June 2022, the firm’s Energy Group has been crucial in anchoring the rapid, successful and sustained growth of the firm. The firm is delighted to announce that, effective December 1, 2023, Kevin Mehi is taking the helm as the new Energy Group Practice Lead.
Kevin’s practice includes advising both renewable and non-renewable energy clients on a variety of matters, including project development, acquisitions and divestitures, and other transactional matters. His experience includes advising various solar and wind project stakeholders on various matters throughout the project development cycle, including land acquisitions, permitting, financing, engineering, procurement and construction, and operations and maintenance. His experience also includes advising conventional oil and gas clients on various upstream, midstream, and downstream matters (including mineral and surface leasing, farm-in and farm-out arrangements, royalties, joint operations, crude supply, transportation, fuel supply, and dealer agreements).
Kevin currently lives in Winnipeg, but is originally from Southern Ontario and has spent several years living in Calgary. Kevin is called to the bar in both Saskatchewan and Alberta.
