Procido LLP lawyers have been advising on procurement matters for 15+ years and have a broad understanding of procurement law. In particular we have experience in public procurement law in Canada which has its own set of principles largely established though the common law. We believe public competitive procurement of goods and services will increase as provincial trade barriers continue to be dismantled. We also see opportunities for private companies to benefit from running more competitive procurement processes.
Services for owners:
Procido LLP advises both private and public owners to structure and prepare public competitive procurement processes such as a Request for Proposal (RFP). Procido LLP also provides public entities advice on compliance with trade law such as the New West Partnership Trade Agreement and the Canadian Free Trade Agreement, among others.
Services for contractors:
Procido LLP advises respondents to RFPs. Our services include a single or multiple-pass review of proposals for legal compliance or review of contracts that have been appended to RFPs for which the respondent need to provide proposed amendments to the issuer of the RFP.
