Brady maintains a general corporate/commercial law practice, with a focus on traditional and renewable energy, mining and natural resources, environmental matters and commercial transactions.
Brady has an interest in, and experience advising on, traditional and emerging energy and natural resource opportunities across Canada, including lithium, critical and strategic minerals, innovative alternative energy technologies and carbon emission compliance and trading regimes. Prior to entering law, he worked in a science communications role for Natural Resources Canada where he developed an in-depth understanding of Canada’s broad energy and natural resource sectors.

- Counsel to European-based developer on land acquisitions and project development of multiple commercial-scale wind, solar and storage projects in Alberta and Saskatchewan
- Counsel to Hive Energy Limited in its entry into Canada through the initial purchase and ongoing development of two distribution-connected solar projects with a collective DC capacity of 38.8 MW
- Counsel to Hive Energy Limited on ongoing renewable project development activities across Western Canada
- Counsel to vendor on a +$70-million sale of oil and gas assets in Saskatchewan and Alberta
- Counsel to Alberta and Saskatchewan wind and solar project developer on land acquisitions, responding to requests for proposal, battery storage and carbon market regulations and opportunities
- Counsel to Saskatchewan-based developer of cryptocurrency data mining projects in Alberta utilizing natural gas from inactive gas wells to generate electricity to power cryptocurrency data mining facilities

- Counsel to financial institution on carbon offset and compliance market regulations and opportunities
