Kelsey Sonntag is an associate at Procido LLP with a practice focused on environmental, energy, and corporate law. She also has an interest in Wills & Estates, Indigenous Law and International Law. Kelsey obtained her J.D. from the University of Saskatchewan in 2024.

Prior to law school, Kelsey obtained a B.Sc., from Chowan University. Graduated Magna Cum Laude, while playing on the university’s Softball team, and was a NFCA All-American Scholar Athlete and inducted into several American Academic Honor Societies. During her collegiate Softball career Kelsey was a part of the 2017-2018 Conference Championship team and holds the record for most extra-base hits by a freshman and most career hit by pitch. She also used the extra year of eligibility she was granted from when COVID-19 hit and cancelled her junior year season to play for the University of Saskatchewan’s Softball team during her second year of law school, where she was named a Second Team All-Star.

Outside of law Kelsey is still active in sports, playing and coaching Softball in Saskatoon, as well as coaching high school Wrestling in the city. She also volunteers with the Saskatoon Dog Rescue and has a big fluffy dog herself.
