National Day for Truth & Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day

On September 30, our nation will honour the Survivors of the residential school system and those children who never returned home, as well as their families and their communities. A vital component of the reconciliation process is the public acknowledgement and commemoration of this tragic and painful part of Canada’s history and the ongoing impacts of the residential school system on our Indigenous communities.

September 30 is both the National Day for Truth & Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day. As our team at Procido LLP reflects on the ongoing process of Reconciliation, we invite and encourage our clients, colleagues, and members of the legal community to also reflect on the Reconciliation process and to show support and solidarity by wearing orange.
