Bill founded his own law firm nearly 40 years ago, which firm has evolved into the Wardell Gillis law firm, which has recently merged with Procido. Procido LLP is humbled by the opportunity to incorporate this historic lineage into the fabric of the firm.

Bill has extensive governance experience, having held Board positions at SaskTel (Chair of Environment, HR Committee & Member of Governance Committee), Saskatoon Co-op, Sask Native Rentals Inc., Clavet United Church, and the Saskatchewan Environmental Society.

Bill is an advocate for sustainability and the use of renewable energy to lower emissions.

Bill has worked extensively with Indigenous clients in all of his practice areas.

Bill is an active cattle producer and grain farmer at Floral, Saskatchewan.

Bill Wardell was appointed King’s Counsel (K.C.) in 1994. Bill is the second King’s Counsel at Procido LLP, joining Craig Zawada, K.C.
