Procido LLP is delighted to welcome Francine Merasty as an Associate and member of the firm’s reconstituted Aboriginal Law Group.
A member of the Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation, Francine grew up In Pelican Narrows, Saskatchewan, a Cree Community in Northern Saskatchewan. Francine speaks fluent Cree. Francine has a son and is an award-winning published poet. She writes on Indigenous themes, current events, kinship, and the land.
Francine practices in the areas of Indigenous law, wills and estates, litigation, governance, and economic development.
