Procido LLP Founding Partner, Chad Eggerman, was a guest on the Evan Bray Show on June 12, 2025 to discuss opportunities for farmers in Saskatchewan to diversify their revenue by entering into Option to Lease and Lease Agreements with private wind and solar project developers – referred to as Independent Power Producers or IPPs. Chad clarifies that wind and solar farms can co-exist with cropping, oil & gas, ranching, helium, and even potash development on a single quarter section of land. Chad stresses the importance of crown corporation, SaskPower to continue purchasing clean electricity in order to allow farmers to receive payments from IPPs.
